Top 10 Fireworks Pictures from Vancouver

Every year in Vancouver, Canada, there is a summer event that is not to be missed.  The Celebration of Light takes place the last week of July and first week of August.  With Vancouver’s picturesque setting surrounding English Bay, there are numerous great vantage points from which to watch the 3 nights of fireworks.  Each night a different country competes in the hopes of winning the judges votes and the public on-line vote.

As a free event, Vancouverites and tourists alike flock to the beaches and parks to get the best viewing spot.  The first show was on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 with the next show on Wednesday, Aug. 1st.  If you missed these shows, there is still the final night on August 4th to head down to catch these spectacular 25 minute firework displays.  There is also accompanying music which can be heard at English Bay and near the Showboat stage on Kitsilano beach.

These are our photos from Vietnam’s show on Saturday, July 28, 2012.
